We’re all about quality here! We stand behind our products 100%, and if there’s a defect or error on our part, don’t sweat it—we’ll replace your item at no extra cost.
Since all our items are made-to-order (yes, they’re practically tailor-made for you!), we typically don’t accept returns or exchanges for customers’ mistakes like picking the wrong size, design, or color. So, double-check that cart before you click “buy now”—your future self will thank you!
Keep in mind, our products are customized and crafted based on demand, so they aren’t just sitting around waiting to be shipped like pre-packaged cookies. And while we do our best to showcase accurate images, the actual item you receive might differ slightly—think of it as a 20% surprise, mostly due to photo lighting or your screen’s display settings. But don’t worry, our products always look fabulous!
RETURNS
We gladly accept returns for products shipped by us if there’s been an error on our end—whether it’s the wrong item or a damaged one. We’ll make it right.
To start the return process, make sure the item comes back to us with proof of purchase—after all, we need to know if it’s really ours! A receipt or any proof of purchase will do. Just reach out to our awesome support team at support@animeape.com to get the ball rolling.
Please note: while we’ll fix our mistakes, you’ll need to cover the return shipping fee.
REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)
Our refund policy lasts 30 days from the date your item arrives. If 30 days have come and gone, we’re afraid we won’t be able to offer a refund or exchange—so make sure to act fast if there’s an issue!
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll send you an email letting you know it’s safely back in our hands. We’ll also let you know if your refund has been approved or rejected. If approved, your refund will be processed, and you’ll see a credit back on your credit card or original payment method within a few days. (We promise it’ll feel like a sweet payday!)
If your refund hasn’t shown up yet, no need to panic! Here’s what you’re going to do:
- Check your bank account – Sometimes it’s just slow to update, and there can be a bit of processing time before a refund is posted.
- Call your credit card company – Refunds can take a few days to officially post.
- Reach out to your bank – There’s often a 5-business-day processing period before the refund appears.

If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then, contact your credit card company—it may take some time before the refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund appears.

SALE ITEMS (IF APPLICABLE)
Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund; unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
EXCHANGES (IF APPLICABLE)
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or if there was an error on our end during production or shipping. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, please email us at support@animeshoeshop.com. Our customer service team will review your claim, and if it’s approved, we’ll provide you with the return address.
WHICH EVIDENCE SHOULD I SUBMIT FOR REPLACEMENT?
Submitting all necessary evidence to clarify any shipping or product errors is crucial to our return/replacement process. Please ensure that all required pictures are sent; without them, we won’t be able to process your return or replacement request.
WRONG PRODUCT SHIPPED
Please provide the following pictures as proof:
- A picture of the incorrect sneakers you received.
- A picture of the shipping label.
SIZE ISSUE
Please provide the following pictures as proof:
- A picture of the shipping label.
- A photo measuring the size of the product with a ruler.
- A picture of the product you received.
BROKEN/DAMAGED ITEMS

- A picture of the shipping label.
CANCELLATIONS
If you’ve had a change of heart about your purchase, just shoot us an email at support@animeape.com with your order number and the modification you’d like to make. We’ll confirm once the change or cancellation has been processed. (We’re quick, but not mind-readers—so help us out by being clear!)
Please note: Your order can only be modified or canceled within 12 hours of placing it. After that, the order is locked and on its way to being processed, so we won’t be able to make any changes. (It’s like when you hit “send” on a text—no going back!)
Also, please be aware that cancellations come with a management and transaction fee of 1.5% of your total order value.
Good news: if you’re simply switching to a new order, you’ll get a full refund. Our system will automatically cancel the old order and refund you 100% once your new order is placed. Easy peasy!
